West Ham United may sign Gary O’Neill away from Wolves, a Premier League opponent.

After what Gary O’Neill has accomplished at Wolves, journalist Dean Jones says he “would not be surprised” if West Ham made a play for him.

On the eve of the 2023–24 Premier League season, O’Neil, a former United player, replaced Julen Lopetegui and has subsequently garnered numerous accolades at Molineux.

There is still uncertainty around David Moyes’ future at London Stadium, but Jones thinks O’Neil would be a great fit in his place.

“I think O’Neil has done a brilliant job so far, and if that was the kind of manager that did interest West Ham from the top flight, it wouldn’t totally surprise me if they did end up having to look back into the Premier League,” he said in an interview with GiveMeSport on February 23.
